BUSSELTON was given hotter days and colder nights in September.
The average daytime temperature last month was 19.2 degrees which was warmer than the 18.3 average from previous years.
Meanwhile the night time average last month of 6.8 degrees was cooler than the long-term average of 7.9 degrees.
The temperature reached 25.2 degrees at its peak on September 23 and fell to just 1.3 degrees on the night of September 2.
Three solid days of rainfall from September 10 to 12 lifted the rainfall total to 50 millimetres despite less than one millimetre falling in the last 15 days of the month.
This was below the long-term September average of 79 millimetres.
The current recording site at Busselton Airport has been used since 1997.
This week the Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a shower or two and 20 degrees across the weekend, a possible storm on Monday before the weather fines up in the middle of next week.
