The free fete, which runs from 9am to 1pm, features entertainment provided by GPS Extravaganza participants, the Leeuwin College of Performance, and a jazz ensemble from Busselton High School.
At the Fun Zone spectators will get to choose between three bouncy castles, a bungee run, mechanical bull, rad rock high ropes course, go carts, large bumping balls, a merry-go-round, pony rides and many more amusements on the day.
Stalls will feature a dunking machine, face painting, a photo booth, balloons, arts and crafts, plants, secondhand books, show bags, fairy floss, doughnuts and delicious cakes and slices.
Geographe Primary’s mascot Super Poss will also be there to greet children and give them a high five.
P&C president and fete committee member Tracy Burroughs said all the funds raised on the day will directly benefit Geographe Primary School’s students.
“The P&C’s main fundraising initiatives this year are to increase the number of digital devices and computers in the classrooms (e.g. iPads and Macbooks),” she said.
“Rather than ask parents to buy one for their children the school aims to provide the devices for them.”
Ms Burroughs said the funds will also be used to purchase shade sails to go over the school’s playgrounds.
People can purchase a $20 wristband for the Fun Zone, which will give them unlimited access to all of the rides on the day. Raffle tickets are also on sale and can be purchased on the day.
