BUSSELTON boxer Kylie Hutt plans on taking out the state titles in December with another knockout win at her second professional match.
The martial arts fighter will take her skills to the boxing ring in a bid to take down her opponent to win the state title, and she cannot wait.
“I am excited,” she said.
“It is an indescribable feeling, I am just frothing to get in there and showcase my skills.”
The state title takes place in Perth on December 2 at Metro City, Hutt will have four two minute rounds to take down her opponent, Perth boxer Sarah Dwyer.
Dwyer won her debutante fight in May this year against Linda Winmar, younger sister of former Australian rules player Nicky Winmar, but this does not deter Hutt.
Hutt’s coach from Team CNS Mixed Martial Arts, Daryl Chin said Dwyer won that fight on a decision.
“Kylie is going to do great,” he said.
“I beat my last opponent by KO and I plan to stop this opponent by KO,” she said.
Hutt said it was hard for women to find professional matches because everyone had different experience levels and different weights.
“You have to find the perfect match up with the same weight and same experience, which is why I am fighting more experienced opponents,” she said.
“It is the only way I can get a fight.”
When she is not training for professional matches, Hutt runs children and women's’ martial arts classes at Team CNS in Vasse.
“It is really rewarding, I get a real kick out of it,” she said.
