Promising Busselton hockey player Chloe Carter has made the under 21’s WA indoor hockey team and will travel to Wollongong, NSW next year to compete in the National Championships.
Carter said it was always exciting to make the state team and was even more so after she had recovered from a knee reconstruction.
“The last time I played indoor was going away with the under 18’s state team,” she said.
Carter now plays for the Melville Hockey Club while she completes her university degree and said there were a lot of country players there as well.
Carter said she had been given a lot of opportunities to pursue her hockey career when she played regionally at the Busselton club.
