City of Busselton rangers are seeking help to identify a dog or its owners who were involved in a dog attack on December 24.
Bonnie, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel passed away due to her injuries after she was attacked on Margaret Street, West Busselton at 2.30pm.
The attacking dog has been described by witnesses as a stocky male, brindle coloured Staffordshire Bull Terrier or Bull Mastiff wearing a brown or red collar.
Rangers have been unable to positively identify the dog or its owner at this time.
Witnesses also reported a female, wearing a red singlet with black jogging pants and a black hat, may have taken video footage of the attack.
Rangers would like to speak to this witness, to obtain the video footage and a statement.
