Busselton’s Oomph Apparel has become the first local brand to be stocked in SportsPower Busselton.
Oomph Apparel is the creation of Busselton’s Oomph Fit trainer and mother-of-two, Leisa Holt.
Ms Holt launch the brand in 2016, after more than a decade in the health, fitness and martial arts industry.
Ms Holt said she wanted to inspire her customers, and for them to look good and feel good.
“A bit of Oomph is something we all need in life,” she said.
“Active wear is something people wear everywhere.
“I want Oomph to be accessible to everyone, whether they are working out or going about their day.”
Ms Holt prides herself on producing unique, stylish, well-priced and high quality garments.
One of her biggest sellers in her ‘squat proof’ tights.
She said she was thrilled to have SportsPower Busselton as a stockist.
“It is really exciting,” she said.
“Having Oomph in a store like SportsPower is something I always wanted but never thought would be possible.”
SportsPower Busselton store owner Deon Homer said it was great to be able to support a fellow local business.
“The fact Leisa is local was the catalyst for this,” he said.
“If she wasn’t local, we probably wouldn’t have heard of her or be willing to put her up against the majors.
“We are locally owned and operated. That’s the image we like to have, so if we can support another local business that just enhances what we are about.”
Mr Homer said another perk of stocking Oomph was it offered a new price point for customers.
“There is a 20 to 25 per cent difference in price to brands like Nike and Lorna Jane so it gives our customers another option,” he said.
