Busselton Magpies outclassed the Collie Eagles outfit in the South West Football Women’s League on Saturday, recording a 58 point win.
Their 10.7 (67) to 1.3 (9) victory is their second consecutive win, and has seen the squad rise to third place on the ladder.
The Eagles were restricted to just three behinds in the final three quarters as Busselton took control of the game.
Chloe Wain starred with three goals, while Gillian Power and Jazmyne Roberts bagged two each.
In the Reserves, the Pies and Eagles recorded the first draw of the 2018 SWFL Reserves season.
The Eagles started strong and kicked the first three goals of the game to take control early.
Despite Busselton keeping the Eagles goalless in the second quarter, Collie were able to maintain their advantage at every change.
However a three goal to one final quarter for the Magpies resulted in the 6.8 (44) to 6.8 (44) deadlock.
The Pies blitzed the Eagles in the Colts competition, downing the visitors by 108 points.
The game started competitively with the Magpies holding a two goal lead at quarter time, but it all went wrong for the Eagles after the break.
Busselton piled on eight goals in the second quarter and put the game out of reach by halftime with a 55 point lead.
The Eagles were restricted to just two more goals for the day and ultimately fell to the Magpies 20.15 (135) to 4.3 (27).
