Major Crash officers have charged a 36-year-old man from Singleton over a fatal crash in Yalyalup on September 23.
The man has been charged with one count of dangerous driving occasioning death - under the influence of drugs, and one count of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm - under the influence of drugs.
The man is due to appear in Busselton Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 30.
The fatal traffic crash resulted in the death of a 20-year-old man.
A black 2015 model Nissan Navara was travelling north along the Bussell Highway when near Layman Road the vehicle crossed to the incorrect side of the road and collided with a white 2007 model Toyota Hilux, which was travelling south.
The driver of the Toyota Hilux, a 20-year-old man, received life threatening injuries and died at the scene.
A 22-year-old female passenger received minor injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to hospital.
The 36-year-old male driver of the Nissan Navara, received minor injuries and was also conveyed to hospital.
