A TIE between YOBS and Dunsborough on the synthetic wicket at Barnard Park was the big highlight in the Busselton-Margaret River competition on Saturday.
Simon Godridge (79) led the way for YOBS as they compiled 8-209 off 40 overs, a total which Dunbororough matched, thanks to half-centuries from Andy Mahoney (66) and Ray Pes (60).
Vasse had the better of St Marys in a tight contest at Bovell Park which featured a knock of 57 from Kevin Rice. Dylan Sieber (44) and Stuart Price (41) were the leading scorers for Vasse in itswinning total of 4-169.
Margaret River Hawks were too strong for a badly depleted Nannup, with Danny Weston hitting 94no, while Cowaramup failed to muster a side in their scheduled contest at Augusta.
