Newlyweds Karin and Eddie Iob were married in country Victoria on December 8 and have been happily honeymooning in Busselton this week.
Sadly, Mr Iob lost his wedding ring at the beach near the Busselton Jetty on Thursday, December 20 and the couple are hoping to reunite with the sentimental ring.
The couple are devastated as the ring also belonged to Mr Iob’s late father and was engraved inside with both Karin’s and Eddie’s mothers name and the date of their respective weddings.
Mr Iobs said he and his wife Karin had been at the beach walking and wading in the protected shark net area.
“We are asking anyone who may find the ring to contact the WA Police, who we have reported the loss too,” he said.
“We would also like to thank the people of Busselton for their help and support already shown to us while we were frantically searching the beach.
“A reward is being offered to anyone who hands in the ring.”
If somebody finds the ring please contact Mr Iob on 0417 561 043 or Ms Iob on 0407 685 601 or email karin@ppu.com.au.
