The 16th Gail Kearney Memorial Busselton Hospice Golf Day will tee off on Friday, March 29 to raise money for the Busselton Hospice Care Inc.
This year a private donation of $10,000 has the golf day organisers well on their way to raising more than $500,000 for the community group.
Busselton Hospice Care Inc is funded through the generosity of donations and fundraising activities in the community.
More than 400 volunteers from the community have provided end of life and bereavement support to people and families for more than 15 years through Busselton Hospice Care Inc.
Over the last 16 years, The Gail Kearney Memorial Busselton Hospice Golf Day has raised more than $487,000 for Busselton Hospice Care Inc, with last year’s event raising around $35,000.
Registrations to play in the tournament are still open and can be made to Mike Kearney on 0407 521 156, the entry fee is $500 for teams of four and includes lunch and a light meal at the end of the event.
