The Busselton Repertory Club will present three one act plays at the Weld Theatre from Friday, April 12 until Sunday, April 14.
The first play to be featured is called Bloke, a very Australian play directed by first time director Peter Seghini,
The story follows five Australian men including a school boy, a brother, an Auskick coach, a bird lover and a man who dreams of bringing the whole street together.
Coordinator of the plays Marg Sanft said while the characters were all completely different they did slightly connect during the play.
"When Peter received the script it just jumped out at him and he really wanted to do the play, and even though they are five monologues they are all on the stage together all the time," she said.
"The cast are brilliant at taking on the guys of the different characters, they go into those characters so well, you will recognise people you know.
"Bloke was written by a woman, she must have sort of looked at these characters and developed them, it is very clever she is a marvellous writer."
After a short interval, Ms Sanft said they would feature a 15 minute film called The Kindness of Strangers, directed by Therese Edmonds.
"I have not seen it but apparently it is absolutely lovely, I am looking forward to seeing it myself," she said.
The final performance is called Night Errant, which Ms Sanft described as a French farce with all sorts of characters coming and going.
"It does have some adult content, it will be quite exciting and it is so different from the play Bloke and will be a fantastic contrast," she said.
"Bill Macpherson is the director of Night Errant, he is a very good director and has been doing it for around 25 years.
"It is very French and very naughty."
"I am looking forward to all of it and the oh la la French, apparently they have some interesting things on stage made specially for them, I still do not know what they are."
