The team at Southern Habitat Nursery have been looking after contractors, developers and shires for more than seven years and have recently opened the 5-acre wholesale nursery to the public.
"We wanted to offer people the ability to come and hand pick from a larger range of quality, locally-grown plants and trees," Southern Habitat Nursery owner Brett Walsh said.
"As a landscaper, I know there are lots of ways to skin a cat, so I might be able to give people another option that they hadn't thought of yet."
"We encourage people to come out to the nursery with their house plans, photos, sketches and wish lists."
"We will sit down with you and design a plant schedule and go through different options and layouts."

The qualified team at Southern Habitat Nursery will do whatever it takes to help their clients out and if they can't help, they will point you in the right direction.
"I think it's very important to get the right advice when choosing trees and plants," Brett said.
"There are just so many wrong spots to put a plant or tree."
"Invasive roots, maximum growing heights, maintenance and water required, shade tolerant or not, eaten by kangaroos the first night, the list just goes on."
"In saying that, every plant and tree does have a spot and that's where we can help."
