A Noongar Footy Legends Night will be held in Busselton at the High Street community hall on Saturday, May 18 with a stellar number of stars appearing at the event.
The Undalup Association will host the event as a fundraiser to provide an opportunity for their community rangers to join Partners the Tangaroa Blue Foundation in Cape York.
MC at the event will be Noongar actor Kelton Pell who is excited about the nights entertainment with hosts Peter 'Buzz' Bosustow and Mark 'Jacko' Jackson.
Football memorabilia will be up for auction and sale, along with raffles on the night.
Several Noongar Footy Legends will be attending the event, with guests Syd Jackson and Keith Narkle being a few old footy players who will share their football highlights.
Jackson was a star at South Bunbury where he claimed two Hayward medals before the age of 18.
Jackson had a close relationship with then-president of South Bunbury Dr Ern Manea, who helped to promote his football career and steer him to higher levels.
In 1963, Jackson joined East Perth where he quickly became known as a sensational footballer.
He played 136 for the VFL club and was a pioneer for indigenous players.
His ball-handling as a midfielder was unmatched and he was touted as a high chance to receive the Sandover medal before he was suspended for striking late in the season.
The Undalup Association will be screening some footage of famous Noongar players from over the years, legends known as Black magic.
