With most of the world self-isolating at home, women in the South West are being encouraged to create an inspiring video for the South West Women's Health video competition.
Run by South West Women's Health, the competition is open to women aged 14 years or older who live in the region, with a cash prize going to the winning entries.
There are two age group categories and three topics the video can be based on which include tips on staying vibrant, acts of kindness or a demonstration showing how to do something that is fun, edible or helpful.
The video can feature only one actor or voice over and the competition is only open to amateur videographers.
South West Women's Health centre manager Lesley Jackes said they wanted to create an opportunity for local women to be creative during these times and generate a groundswell of positivity.
"Someone has phoned us and said they were going to interview their chooks, so it is a bit of humour as well," she said.
"We created the competition to connect us all in a different way and we are also trying to encourage strong mental wellbeing during this period.
"One of our aims is not to have just one or three videos circulating on social media, but as many videos that will create a groundswell of positivity to support the mental wellbeing of women, those they care for and their families.
"We are looking forward to the creative results and we know that creative self expression is vital and that many women have that ability.
"For us it is an act-belong-commit initiative and we cannot wait for the results, we reckon there will be some wisdom put forward.
"We want to be part of the positivity that can be swirling around in the South West."
