A man in his 20's received serious injuries after losing control of his car on the Bussell Highway in Broadwater and collided with a stationary truck.
Police had attempted to stop the Ford Falcon sedan earlier but lost sight of it. When the crash occurred it was not being pursued.
Police stated the vehicle was travelling east on the highway when the driver lost control and crossed to the incorrect side of the road hitting the truck which was parked on a gravel shoulder.
The sole occupant of the sedan was taken to Busselton Health Campus. The driver of the truck was uninjured.
Major Crash officers are investigating the incident which occurred around 1.15pm on October 21, 2020.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have seen the crash, or either vehicle prior travelling in the area prior to the crash.
