The men's professional fours championship has ended at the Dunsborough Bowling club with a skilled side taking out the title.
Playing in heavy conditions from overnight rain and strong winds bringing the temperature down, all players found the game difficult at times.
Toby McCarthy skipped Butch Sharpe, Hans Queckfeldt and Gary Bell over the two championship weeks without losing a game.
Their opponents were fortunate in slipping into the final by losing one game but securing more shots than the closest rival team.
Dennis Frost skipped Clive Williams, Merv Mott and Ben Tas who are all experienced final competitors and were strong-minded to take out the title.
The spectators were limited in numbers but loud in their support during a match which up until the 10th of 18 ends could have gone either way. The score then sat at 15-12 in Frost's favour.
Perhaps it was needing to get out of the cold that made the Frost team pick up and win the ensuing ends easily. McCarthy conceded the last end and team Frost won 21-13.
"Champions of the future" said Frost referring to his opposition.
"The game was a lot closer than the score suggests."
