Christmas Day lunch at St Mary's Anglican Church is on again even though COVID-19 has stopped a sit down meal this year.
St Mary's will be serving Christmas dinner as a takeaway meal which will include a desert and soft drink, along with presents for the children and gifts for all.
Kerry Bayley and her team of tireless volunteers from the Busselton community will have everything ready to serve from midday until 1pm at St Mary's Family Centre on the corner of Queen Street and Albert Street.
If anyone in the community has not booked in yet please contact St Mary's on weekday mornings by phoning 9754 3775 or call into their office and put your name down.
Anyone in the community is welcome to attend, as well as, bring their family and friends along too. There is no charge.
St Mary's administrator John Morris said this was their ninth Christmas Day dinner and they had received wonderful support from the City of Busselton, Essie Kenworthy, Vasse MLA Libby Mettam and Street Smart Australia.
"It is a special celebration aimed at those who may be alone over Christmas or just need someone to say hello to and have a chat," he said.
"It also ensures that those who are in need of a good meal for whatever reason are able to do so. They all are very welcome to come along and enjoy what we have to offer on Christmas Day."
Christmas Day lunch will be takeaway this year please phone 9754 3775 for bookings or visit the office at St Mary's Family Centre in Busselton.
