Organisers of the 2022 Busselton Jetty Swim have announced a stellar line up of WA performers set to take to the stage for the February event.
South West musician Mama Kin is set to bring the Busselton foreshore to life, revealed as the headline act for the February 12 concert.
The blues and folk singer has won two Western Australian Music Awards (WAMIs) for Best Folk Act and Best Blues act, and was nominated for two ARIA awards and two AIR awards, for Best Blues and Roots Album.
MKS is Mama Kin (aka Danielle Caruana) and producer-songwriter Dingo Spender.
Long-time friends and collaborators, MKS combine drums, percussion and blistering guitar.
Mama Kin will be supported by Perth's Baker Boys Band, who will fill the dance floor with all the songs WA already knows and loves for the free family sunset concert.
The evening's entertainment will open with the Battle of the Bands finals, where three of the best local youth bands will face off to win the title.
The show will begin at 6pm at the Amphitheatre on Busselton foreshore on Saturday, February 12.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and friends for a night of musical fun.
The SunSmart Busselton Jetty Swim 2022 will be the 27th iteration of the event, with entertainment, activities and family-friendly fun scheduled over two days.
The Jetty Swim will take place on the morning of Sunday 13th February 2022.
