Aussie Nash Hash event will be bringing more than 600 people from across the country for a three day running extravaganza.
The event began in 1985 on the Gold Coast with it only visiting WA twice before now.
The club was formed in Malaysia by English expats before World War II with the aim of going for a run to keep fit and enjoy fellowship.
The national event is held every two years and local member Greg Moss said it had been fours years in the making for it to come to Busselton.
Moss said it was a great event for the town with so many people coming to stay in accommodation and spend locally.
“We are expecting that the visitors will spend upward of $400,000 during their stay in Busselton,” he said.
People will arrive on March 2 with the traditional red dress run for charity on March 5.
The red dress run will start at the Busselton Jetty and run through the CBD to finish at the Busselton Football Club.
Everyone will be wearing a red dress with donation tins available for public to contribute.
All the money raised from the run will go to Camp Quality.
From Friday until Sunday there will be a venue at Churchill Park for members.
There will be organised runs which range from four kilometres to 23km across Busselton and the Cape region.
