Tasmania Police has uncovered what is believed to be human remains at a Launceston house.
Police and forensic officers undertook “a number of examinations” at a Mayfield property on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.
It comes as part of police’s continued investigations into the disappearance of Tyson Timothy Clark-Robertson.
Mr Clark-Robertson, 24, of Launceston, was last seen at the Newnham IGA on July 19 last year.
Concerned relatives contacted police about his welfare early last month.
Tasmania Police Detective Inspector Philippa Burk said police believed Mr Clark-Robertson may have been a victim of “foul play”.
A 45-year-old man, a 53-year-old man, and a 19-year-old woman are in police custody and assisting with enquiries.
Tasmania Police will brief the media with more information on Wednesday afternoon.
Investigations continue at the Mitchell Street address, with forensic and criminal investigation bureau officers.
