Donnybrook Football Club recorded their first win of the 2017 South West Football League season in round three with a miraculous come-from-behind victory over Bunbury on Sunday.
The Bulldogs scored two goals to one in the first term, but then upped the intensity in the second term to lead 7.3.45 to 1.4.10 at half time.
Dons fans would have been forgiven for departing VC Mitchell Park at the main break but those who stayed were rewarded for their loyalty with a stunning turn around.
A fired-up Donnybrook side went harder at contests and found some accuracy in front of goal to trim the margin to 10.5.65 to 6.7.43 at the final change.
With a sniff of the unbelievable, the Dons continued to push and bag the goals required to prevail 12.8.80 to 12.6.78.
Joshua Green calmly slotted the winner, and his sixth of the match, to the elation of his teammates.
The result was heartbreaking for Bunbury who slipped to fifth on the ladder with the narrow defeat.
