Planning is underway for the annual Busselton Show and organisers have announced the 2018 theme.
This year, the show’s theme will be ‘Celebrating 100 Years of the Old Butter Factory’.
After recent events, show organisers wanted to highlight Busselton’s history and assist the Historical Society in rebuilding one of the city’s iconic buildings.
The theme will run across the entire show from blacksmith demonstrations to special features in the show’s competitions.
Show president Wally Lord said they were hoping the people of Busselton would get creative with their competition entries this year and make it a show to remember.
Competition categories include cooking, craft, knitting, sewing or crotchet, jam, woodwork or metal work, photography, art and flowers.
The 2018 Busselton Show will be held on November 2 and 3.
