Event organisers of the Rainbow Dog Walk have raised $2000 for Busselton Hospice Care Inc after an initial $1800 was raised at their event last month.
The walk was organised by Busselton Pride Alliance, a not for profit community group which works to improve health outcomes of LGBTQIA+ people in the South West.
Busselton Pride Alliance Inc event director Yvonne Innes said they chose to raise funds for Busselton Hospice Care Inc because they were committed to ensuring all of the community could access support through inclusive community services.
The funds will be used to support BHCI's online carer education program, and continue their end of life and bereavement support, currently being run over the phone.

Ms Innes said Busselton was privileged to have a community organisation that provided such a high standard of support and end of life care.
"It was a fantastic event and we were overwhelmed with the support we received from the community and local businesses who sponsored the event," she said.
"We loved seeing all the rainbow dogs and this event will only get bigger and better each year."
