The WA Electoral Commission released the final changes on Friday with nine districts in the state changed including Warren-Blackwood and Vasse.
The boundary changes were released for public comment in July, which proposed to break Vasse up by losing Port Geographe and gaining Margaret River.
There was plenty of discontent with the proposals, with Busselton residents and politicians saying it did not make sense to break the local government boundary.
However, the final release which won’t come into effect until the 2017 state election shows Port Geographe still part of the Vasse electorate.
Changes to the electorate include losing Witchcliffe and Forest Grove and the area between Bramley and Burnside.
The locality of Bramley will be included in the Vasse.
The areas in which Vasse lose ground, the Warren-Blackwood seat will gain.
Warren-Blackwood will lose Donnybrook but will gain Mount Barker, Narrikup and the Stirling Ranges National Park.
