Community members concerned about homelessness and affordable housing in Busselton are invited to attend a meeting at the Uniting Church.
Busselton resident Carol-lyn Mills will be bringing together community organisations to address the housing crisis.
"We need to address this and work on it, we need to realise that this is a big problem," she said.
Ms Mills said there were some community groups and tourism places that had been able to provide residents who could not secure a long-term property with temporary accommodation.
"It is not up to them it is up to us as a community, I think the government could do more," she said.
Ms Mills said community members and church groups would be attending the meeting and anyone who was concerned about the housing crisis was welcome to attend.
The meeting will be held at 5pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the Uniting Church, 47 Kent Street, Busselton.
