Missing Bayswater man Robert Fairchild found in bushland

Police have located missing man Robert Fairchild, who has been found after two days in thick bushland in Flint.

Mr Fairchild has been transported to hospital by ambulance.

A search base had been set up near the Mundaring State Forest as emergency services united to locate the Bayswater man who had not been seen since Sunday morning.

WA Police set up a command post at Christmas Tree Well, about 500 metres west on Yarra Road off the Brookton Highway with a police helicopter, a fixed-wing plane, SES, mounted and dog police units and Department of Parks and Wildlife officers searching for the 21-year-old.
