City of Busselton rangers are seeking witnesses to a dog incident which has resulted in a man being taken to hospital with a serious injury.
Around 2.30pm on Sunday, July 1 an elderly gentleman and his wife were enjoying a bicycle ride along Geographe Bay Road near the Mandalay Resort.
While the details are not clear, it appeared a large dog rushed out causing the gentleman to fall from his bike and as a result he sustained a serious injury.
Bystanders came to the man’s assistance and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
The dog is described as a large brown dog possibly belonging to an English male owner.
