The Busselton junior beetles rugby union under eight team played in front of the big crowd at a Western Force game against Samoa in Perth on Saturday.
After a visit from Rugby WA’s president he suggested the team should travel to Perth to see how they rated against a metro side.
“They played awesome for the twenty minutes taking away a 50-0 win,” said Adrian Pradera
“The children were pumped, from the moment we announced we were invited to play we could not stop them talking about it, a few brought it up at show and tell at school as well.
“Some of the children want to be All Blacks and Wallabies when they grow up, so it was good to see them excel on the big stage in front of a much larger crowd.”
The Busselton team played against the Mandurah Pirates side and there were also teams from Bunbury Rockingham and Perth.
“We would like to thank all the parents and supporters for making this happen without them we wouldn't of had the opportunity to do this, many thanks,” Mr Padera said.
