There's no escaping it, family admin and that never ending to-do list is a part of life.
Most of us have a list of tasks we need to action outside our careers and many of us have felt overwhelmed when that list continually grows.
Running a smooth household and having systems in place is the obvious goal to reducing your mental load, but often people are stuck on how to tackle this beast.
"I've always found that it isn't the straw that breaks the camel's back that is the problem, is it the niggling thoughts in the back of our minds that are causing us stress, and it just happens to be the missing sock on a busy morning that sends us into a meltdown," says life assistant Caroline Brunne from Organise.Curate.Design.
So, what can we do to reduce our family's household admin? "I'm a big believer in having concise lists and calendars," says Caroline. "Family members often have competing schedules so having items in one place can give the adults of the family unit a clear overview on who needs to be where and what items need to be done prior."
Caroline is also a big fan of meal planning and making meal decisions ahead of time, while also using the features of home appliances to reduce delays.
"On busy days with not much time to cook, making the most of clever appliance features like Westinghouse's AirFry function on their ovens, gets things as tasty as possible, with minimal cooking time," says Caroline.
"After a busy day, the last thing I need is for dinner to be on the table late when the kids and I are hungry and tired."

Kids should also be involved in the running of a smooth household, which is not only helpful on a daily basis, but also means you're raising people who are used to doing their share when they have families of their own.
"I see my family as a team of people working collectively to live in our home and enjoy our lives together," says Caroline. "Working as a team means everyone pitches in and everyone has a job to do.
"No successful team relies on one person, so no one person should be responsible for the entire family admin load.
"My family and I love our weekends. so we try to clean as we go during the week to avoid losing the whole weekend to chores."
Caroline suggests this is another opportunity to take advantage of home appliances with smart features to reduce delays where possible - she's a big fan of the fan drying function on Westinghouse's freestanding dishwasher, noting that "when the dishes are dry, there is no excuse for my young son who is in charge of putting the dishes away".
