NSW recorded 1485 new coronavirus cases on Sunday as the state reached another vaccination milestone.
Three more people have died of COVID-19 in western and south-western Sydney, including a woman in her 50s who had received one dose of a vaccine.
The other fatalities were an unvaccinated man in his 70s and an unvaccinated woman in her 70s.

New cases in regional areas included 32 in western NSW, four in the far west, 12 in the Hunter New England district, eight in Wollongong, three in Shellharbour and seven on the Central Coast.
The western NSW cases included 23 in Dubbo.
The Hunter cases included seven in Port Stephens, two in Maitland, the first case in Upper Hunter, one in Cessnock and one in Armidale which may be excluded after further testing.
NSW reached 40 per cent double-dose vaccination in people aged 16 and over on Saturday.
More than 73 per cent of the over-16 population have received one dose.
The delta outbreak of the virus has claimed 126 lives since June 16.
NSW hospitals are treating 1030 COVID-19 cases, including 175 in intensive care and 72 on ventilators.
The state recorded 115,495 COVID-19 tests reported to 8pm last night, compared with the previous day's total of 131,174.
NSW Health administered 46,502 COVID-19 vaccines in the 24 hours to 8pm last night, including 9855 at the vaccination centre at Sydney Olympic Park and 11,378 at the vaccination centre at Qudos Bank Arena.
The total number of vaccines administered in NSW is now 7,473,546, including 2,797,399 administered by NSW Health to 8pm last night and 4,676,147 administered by the GP network and other providers to 11:59pm on Friday.
Of the locally acquired cases reported to 8pm last night:
- 518 are from South Western Sydney Local Health District
- 479 are from Western Sydney LHD
- 174 are from Sydney LHD
- 116 are from South Eastern Sydney LHD
- 80 are from Nepean Blue Mountains LHD
- 32 are from Western NSW LHD
- 31 are from Northern Sydney LHD
- 12 are from Hunter New England LHD
- 11 are from Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD
- 7 are from Central Coast LHD
- 6 are in correctional settings
- 4 are from Far West LHD
- 15 cases are yet to be assigned to an LHD.
NSW Health's ongoing sewage surveillance program has recently detected fragments of the virus that causes COVID-19 at sewage treatment plants across NSW.
Fragments were detected in Byron Bay overnight and recently at Tamworth and Glen Innes in Hunter New England LHD, Cooma in Southern NSW LHD and West Kempsey in Mid North Coast LHD.
No recent cases have been detected in these locations so everyone in these areas is urged to monitor for the onset of symptoms, and if they appear, to immediately be tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
