Why not make some spare cash while doing your bit for the environment?
- Mayor Phill Cronin
The market aims to promote the re-use of items otherwise destined for landfill, inviting local sellers to bring along saleable, secondhand household items including books, furniture, clothing, toys, kitchenware, tools and sporting goods.
City of Busselton Mayor Phill Cronin encouraged residents to take advantage of the sale to clear out unwanted and unused items.
"This is a great opportunity to declutter the house or shed of items that are no longer needed," he said.
"Why not make some spare cash while doing your bit for the environment?"
He said the day would benefit everyone, not just those looking to clear some space.
"For buyers, it's an opportunity to rummage for a bargain and support the recycle and reuse ethos.
"Don't forget to BYO your re-usable shopping bags and coffee cups.
"There will also be a sausage sizzle hosted by the Vasse Lions Club.
"This market is your one-stop shop for sustainable shopping and community fun!"
